Shorty George is one crazy dance cactus. When he started dancing, he forgot that he needed water to survive. He is a Lindy Hop, Blues, and Balboa dancer from New York City & has been rocking out like this for 8 years. He has traveled all over the U.S. & Europe to many of the major events like Barswingona, Herrang, ULHS, Snowball & GNSH. Having previously taught Lindy Hop & Blues workshops in Reykjavik, Istanbul, & Madrid, Shorty George brought great energy, humor, and entertainment to the classes while teaching some useful techniques to improve people's dancing. Jenny, based in NYC, is a full time dance instructor, DJ and Director of nycBABBLE.com and Brooklyn Swings. She has worked with Frankie95, Yehoodi.com and for Steel City Blues, Montreal Bagel & Blues and more. Jenny has been training in dance for over twenty years teaching for over fifteen, with a BA in Dance and Theater from San Diego State University. Jenny brings a focus on variety, expression, and an understanding of body mechanics. Jenny has studied such styles as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop, Funk, Gymnastics, Capoeira, Aikido, Tango, Waltz, Salsa, Lindy-Hop, Balboa, Charleston, and Blues. Jenny believes the dance floor is a 'World of Yes' where we accept and are inspired. In turn we take classes in a 'World of Intention' to expand our 'World of Yes.'
